Air travel. Delays. Waiting and more waiting. Air travel is much different these days then in the pre 9/11 era. Liquids have to be less than 3.4 oz., no lighters (that’s fine with me), nothing that could be consider dangerous. I’m fine with those restrictions by the TSA but the delays are getting to be ridiculous.
A glitch today at LAX has caused 20,000 air travels to be stranded. The cause? Take a guess.
Weather, no not this time. Pilot shortage, guess again. A computer glitch, yes.
20,000 international air travelers, American and international were forced to wait in four terminals while the problem is resolved. This is exactly what I would want to do after spending 12 hours on an international flight. I for one am not looking forward to my next trip. This past June my flight was delayed in both directions and was due to the air congestion in the fly zones. Looks like this problem will continue to get worse and may not get better.
This clip might make you wish that you lived back in the black and white days.
