Indiana Company tells employees Shape Up or Shell Out

August 10, 2007 · Leave a Comment

Indiana company, Clarian Health Partners would like to enact a company policy that would allow them to fine workers who engage in unhealthy behavior. In 2009, Clarian employees will be charged up to $30 every two weeks if they fail to meet health standards. Controversial, yes. Effective, yes. Lawsuits, yes.

I would say that this will become a highly debated issue and there is no clear cut resolution. I can see a company rewarding healthy employees but punishing unhealthy ones will lead to a legal matter. I personally wouldn’t mind working for a companydon that paid me more for being healthy. I don’t think McDonalds will be implementing this policy anytime soon.

Former Cardinals coach Green to go Red with possible Coors Light Mock Ad

August 10, 2007 · Leave a Comment

Former Arizona Cardinals coach Dennis Green may turn his on air meltdown into a lucrative Ad spot for Coors Light Brewing. Green was fired at the end of the o6′ season and was prohibited from being in any advertising (NFL rules)…

Now he is off the hook and most likely ready to capitalize on his on air performance. I personally would enjoy seeing that ad, if Coors could make it work. The setup is perfect, Green is so ticked off that it is a very entertaining rant.
